Eid is knock knock knocking on Ramadan’s doors and Texas will celebrate at the One 4 All EAS Charity Eid Carnival. Some of the fun will include:

Laser tag
Rock Climbing Wall
Carnival Games

Moonwalks
Volleyball Tournament (Pre-registration only)
Face Painting & Henna
Mini-Bazzar

Delicious entrees and desserts (Koshari, Kah’k, Baklawa, Basbosa, Ta’meyya and more)

A massive party at the ACC’s big venue with something fun and entertaining for everyone, even the little ones. Come to Houston’s Major Eid Carnival and satisfy your taste buds with a bite of that light, airy cookie “Kah’k”. Signup at the event for the Outdoor Volleyball Tournament. Go back indoors and get the little ones a balloon and take them to face-painting then get one yourself. Watch your kids make a new friend every minute. Join a the party inside and outside on the huge lawn with all the games.

This charity event is hosted by the Egyptian American Society at the Arab American Culture & Community Center. The EAS will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Egypt Cancer Network (57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital), Amaanah Refugee Services, and Maram Foundation. Let’s get together, have a great time, and make sure that refugee kids and cancer warriors can benefit while doing so.

Salma Taher

. A licensed Medical Coder, working for MD Anderson Cancer Center, Salma earned her Ph.D. from Texas Women University in Nutritional Science. In 2008 Salma graduated with the BS in Biology, Nutrition, and Political Science with Honors from the University of Houston. Salma moved with her family to Sugar Land when she was 13, having lived in Cairo and Fresno, California prior to that. Salma is married to Yehia Omar, having met him during the Houston Egyptian Revolution demonstrations
